The University of Southern Mississippi’s School of Ocean Science and Engineering Marine Education Center will be hosting this year’s Regional SeaPerch Challenge. This event is scheduled to take place on March 14th at the Biloxi Natatorium (Biloxi, MS). SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) in a group setting. Team registration closes on Friday 2/14, and we will need additional help in getting this competition up and running!

We will begin to update interested volunteers with event information as soon all teams are finalized next week. This is a great opportunity to help middle and high school students explore the STEM field and be exposed to professionals in the field of marine science!
