Phenology, also known as nature’s calendar, is the study of life cycle changes in plants and animals. It includes leafing and flowering of plants, emergence of insects, and migration of birds. We are seeking volunteers to learn about phenology and become Citizen Scientists using Nature’s Notebook! We would like to invite you to learn about the science of phenology and how it relates to changing environmental conditions. On Saturday, October 28th from 9:00am to 12:00pm we will hold a workshop to provide an introduction to the science of phenology and demonstrate how to use Nature's Notebook for making and recording phenology observations.
