Training Description:

Sea levels are rising and we are experiencing it here at home in the Gulf of Mexico.

This full-day interactive workshop introduces AL science and social studies teachers to a new curriculum. The lessons connect science to civics and geography to increase the understanding of sea-level rise (SLR) basics and provide community-driven solutions. The workshop will provide an opportunity to shape the curriculum and identify practical applications. Participants can also be a sponsored pilot-test classroom in Spring 2020!

$100 STIPEND; 0.6 CEUs
