Are you interested in coastal birds and their habitats, conservation, and making a difference?

Volunteer to participate in the Audubon Coastal Bird Survey (ACBS), a volunteer-driven, Citizen Science effort that was developed through the Pascagoula River Audubon Center in response to 2010 BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. ACBS engages community volunteers in the monitoring of coastal birds and their habitats. The survey provides critical data on diversity and population trends, and allows conservation managers to assess threats and identify remedial actions. Survey sites are located along the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock counties.
